Asheville, NC - Asheville is known for its artistic vibe, Asheville has become one of NC’s hottest spots to visit offering the Biltmore Estates and an eclectic downtown area with homemade crafts and several microbreweries. Asheville is also known for it's famous Grove Park Inn and Spa that is frequented by celebraties and even a president or two.
Atlanta, GA- SO MUCH TO DO.... My favorites are the Atlanta Zoo and the Fabulous Fox Theatre. I love to eat at the OK Cafe and the brunch at Einstein's is AMAZING and a cool little fact is Elmo's serves Brasstown Beef, which is raised in Brasstown, NC, right across from my house. Atlanta is also home of the Braves, Falcons, and so much more. Atlanta.net.
Chattanooga, TN - Chatanooga Fun. The Tennessee Aquarium is filled with birds, animals, and fish found in our area. It is tons of fun and very educational. Chattanooga is also a great place for shopping, the Chattanooga Choo Choo, Rock City.
Greenville, SC - Greenville is a family friendly city just a few hours from Murphy. It's such a clean and new city, I love to visit and enjoy the great restaurants and shops.
Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg - Just a 2 hour drive through the Smoky Mountain Parkway. Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg/Ober offers entertainment, amusment parks, car shows, seasonal snow skiing, wedding chapels, Christmas Festival of Lights, and Tanger Outlets.
Stone Mountain, GA - I love Stone Mountain and made it an annual destination for years. They have an awesome lazer light show, golf, rope climbing for the kids, and a skyride all the way to the top for those of us who rather ride than walk.
